Panopticon

A poem inspired by the Sufi Poet/Mystic Hafiz, a Persian poet who praised the joys of love and wine, but also targeted religious hypocrisy. The poem is in the form of the Ghazal. J L Carey Jr. is best known for his Repressionist Poetry that often deals with Pop-Culture Conspiracy from a psychological or analytical perspective.
